Xinping (Mark) Ye is a Professor of Law of Shenzhen University Law School, and Director of the Institute of International Economic Law and Policy of Shenzhen University. He obtained his bachelor’s (1984), master’s (1987) and doctorate (1994) degrees from Wuhan University, and taught there (1987–1996). Professor Ye started to work at Shenzhen University in 1996 and was promoted to Professor in 2002. He served as Executive Deputy Dean from 2002 to 2006 and as Dean from 2006 to 2008. He was a visiting scholar at Yale Law School in 2001 and a visiting professor at Minster University Law School in Germany in 2003. Professor Ye has published 9 books, including Peaceful Settlement of International Disputes, Guide to the Outward Investment as to Law and Business, Important Legal Documents on the Settlement of International Disputes, China’s Economic Cards — New Perspective on Foreign Relations, Multilateral Legislation of International Investment — Past, Present and Future, Current Development of International Dispute Settlement System, Peaceful Settlement of International Disputes (revised version), Hot Issues in China’s Foreign Relations and Reading Guide to M&A Masterpieces, and has published hundreds of articles in print media (academic journals, general magazines, newspapers, social media, etc.)
